We get asked a lot of questions from friends and from those we meet along our travels, about our life as empty nesters on the road….
We were surprised to find out that the national organization of AARP (American Association of Retired Persons), were just as curious as everyone else about the process of becoming nomadic empty nesters.
We are flattered to have been selected by AARP to give some practical advice to empty nesters thinking about adopting an adventurous lifestyle post parenting. Or becoming “gypsies”… as they call it!
We are not retired, but here we are featured in AARP.
We went through a long interview process, which gave us the opportunity to reflect on our 7 years in Latin America and Asia. We will share our insights for other empty nesters, in the next post.
