CO2 Bambu has reached another milestone in it’s effort to nurture the development of a bamboo economy on Nicaragua’s Atlantic coast.

The Mayagna communities of RAAN have taken delivery of a second batch of twenty six eco houses made of Guadua bamboo from the Rosita area, harvested by indigenous community members, produced in the factory built in the community of Fruita de Pan and assembled with the help of beneficiaries from the indigenous community of Arenaloso.

In many cases the beneficiaries asked us to build homes right next to their exisiting structures.

This makes for some great before and after pictures.
